How to Find my Herbal Clinic
The Holistic Health Centre
The Holistic Health Centre is easy to find.
Cottesmore is the largest village in the smallest county in England. The B668 (Main Street) runs through the centre of the village. We are set back a little from the road, between the Post Office and the Church.
Access to and within the premises
If you drive to your appointment, you will find there is usually free roadside parking just outside.
Access to the clinic is by a short flight of steps or a wheelchair accessible ramp. Once inside, all public areas are on the ground floor.
The Holistic Health Centre, Main Street, Cottesmore, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 7DJ
From the clinic, I can support the local population in Oakham, Stamford, Melton Mowbray, Uppingham and Grantham, with natural healthcare. Not to mention people from the surrounding villages of Greetham, Stretton, Ashwell, Market Overton, Empingham, Exton, Langham and Barrow.
Nearest train station
You will find the nearest train station at Oakham, approximately 4 miles away.
A recent and very popular addition to my practice is the ability to offer online herbal consultations. Online consultations are available via zoom or similar software. These appointments enjoy the same level of privacy and confidentiality as a face-to-face consultation. While being conveniently accessible from the comfort of your own home.
Telephone consultations are also available. These are convenient for follow-up appointments to assess your progress on your current herbal treatment plan.
How to make an appointment
Consultations with me at the Holistic Health Centre or online are by appointment only.
People consult with me for all sorts of reasons. Whether you need help with improving your general health, preparing for pregnancy, or help with a specific health concern, I have found that it is best to have a chat before booking an initial appointment. I offer a no-obligation complimentary call to discuss how I can help.
The best place to buy herbal medicine
Pharmacognosy, studying plants as sources of medicine, was part of my herbal training. So, I can offer you the best quality herbal medicines from my dispensary.
I practice western herbal medicine and stock the dispensary with mainly western herbs and herb products. But western herbal medicine and other plant medicine, such as Chinese herbal medicine, sometimes use the same plant species. This might be because the same plant grows in many parts of the world. Or, just as we might use culinary spices from around the world in our kitchen, a medical herbalist uses herbal remedies that originate in other countries. For instance, I stock herbs from other continents, such as turmeric, ginger, ginseng and ashwagandha, in my dispensary.
After your appointment, I can usually prepare your bespoke medicine while you wait. Or, I can post it to you. Similarly, after an online or telephone consultation or when you need a repeat prescription, you can arrange to collect it from the clinic, or I can post it.
Ask about discounts
Sometimes I may also recommend other herbal products or nutritional supplements from reputable suppliers. You can buy these directly from the supplier, and sometimes, I can offer discounts on supplements if you open an account with my reference.
